*About Friends of Camp Concord:* Friends of Camp Concord is uniquely partnered with the City of Concord and provides award-winning programs to families and youth throughout the region.
We offer multiple sessions in South Lake Tahoe, CA, to various groups that provide campers with caring, well-trained counselors and a unique group living situation.
The impact of this experience is an organized resident camp environment.
This environment helps children develop their potential by teaching them new skills, encouraging them to take healthy risks, and accepting them as part of an influential group.
Friends of Camp Concord annually scholarships over 500 campers to attend camp on a full or partial scholarship.
Their mission is to sponsor camperships for underprivileged children and families, promote greater awareness and use of Camp Concord, establish and carry out projects at camp, and help fund improvements to the camp facilities.
